Caffeine is a diuretic -- it makes you pee. Make sure you are getting enough hydrating fluids if you're drinking caffeine and exercising...
Exercise does give you more natural energy though....but wean yourself off the caffeine if you're used to a lot. :) It can be quite addictive.
Keep up the exercise!!

Caffeine is good in small doses. You can still drink a cup or two for breakfast.
Try a small dosage before exercise, as well. It may help burn some more fat. Not for everybody though, depending on level of exercise and/or reaction to caffeine levels.
Quick energy booster - Try 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup vanilla, fat-free yogurt and 1/2 to 1 full banana,1 scoop whey protein with 1/3 cup milk. Mix in the blender, great smoothie and a lot of good energy.

I don't use caffeine. I get energy naturally. Ofcourse it helps to be 25 but I drink water and eat enough carbs to go that extra mile and last longer.

i got off of soda and most caffeinated drinks bc water plays a vital role in keeping fit. carbonated things slow me down and that's where i get my caffeine. so i got off of caffeine and im doing great with just exercise.

I exercise daily, drink coffee, Pepsi AND energy drinks. (sobe adrenaline rush). Exercise definitely gives you more energy and all over a better sense of well being. I know if I miss a day, I feel like crap!

I need my diet soda all thru the day not for energy though, I quit smoking when I was 22 (i smoked for 11 years) and I replaced that bad habit with a diet soda habit, so I need the soda in my hand thru the day.

For a while when I gave up caffine I was tired and had headaches, but after it was completely out of my system I had more energy. Also no longer had the highs and lows that caffine can give you.
