HERE IS AN ANSWER FROM THE EXPERT!! When you apply conditioner you should always begin at the ends of your hair and the work it toward the top of your head. Leave it on for about two minutes and then rinse it off using cool water. Never wash your hair with hot or too warm water for it strips its natural oils. Condition about four times a week and no more. If your conditioner says "leave in" on the bottle, then you may leave it in, if not, rinse it off. A deep conditioner is highly recommended if you experience dryness from pool usage, ocean swimming, or too much coloring/highlights. Combing it through is not necessary, but it does help to spread it evenly over the hair. See your hair stylist for a good one.

after shampooing your hair. part your hair in 3-5 ways. You put the conditioner or hot oil treatment, starting from your roots of the hair and finish to the end. There are different conditioner treatments out there. Most of them you leave it on your hair up to 15 minutes. Others you can leave it all day or follow directions on the back of the product. Anyhow, get a plastic bag and cover your hair. Good luck to you.

when i apply conditioner i only put it on the bottom half of my hair because the conditioner will weight down your roots and make your hair greasy faster. i rub it in with my hands and then comb my fingers through it to make sure its all saturated. i leave it on for 3 mins or so and then rinse it out.

well it depends what kind of conditioner it is, if it is leave in conditioner then u should usually comb it through, other conditioners u just wash it out but dont put it on the scalp, just on the tips so it doesnt get tangly and if u put it on the scalp it greases faster

what i do is when i get in the shower...i wet my hair, then put shampoo. then i rinse it out, put in my conditioner and leave it in while i put on my body wash, rinse that off, THEN i rinse my conditioner out. this gives the conditioner the time it needs to get into the shaft and do what it is supposed to do. i hope that helps!

with your hands just on the ends, combing it can also work well though, just be sure not to use as much on the roots

don't put too much on the roots, it weighs hair down and makes it look oily. Apply more to the ends!
