Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Ephesians 4:31
Proverbs 22:24, Proverbs 20:2,Eccl.7:9,
Eph.4:4:32-Forgiving
Col 3:13
former things- Eph.4:22 Rev.21:4
Philipians 3:13

Forgive as Christ has forgiven us, for we all are but human and are not perfect, but Christ is and with him we can forgive and forget, for Christ forgives and forgives our sins against him. We can be hurt, but we can forgive and let anger be put away from us so we may not become bitter and sin against God or sin while we are angry. Hope these scriptures help... Some times prayer releases anger we may have when God heals and restores the womb there.

Anger is a powerful motivator. It can motivate one to look deeper into the lesson...to find his or her own participation in the situation. Forgiving self and the other person is helpful, and solace and prayer helps me a lot. I'm not versed in the bible, because I'm not christian...but I did a little research for you. Here are my results. Good luck.

Without going into Scripture, I can tell you simply, "Let go and let God."

If it is true the bigger man walks away from conflict, then the wiser man forgives as he walks. To forgive, is just a conscious thoughtful decision to resolve your psychological attachment of a grudge for some wrong that was done to you.

Find a positive means to get rid of your anger, such as putting your energies into productive things ... this will help you to forget as you concentrate on other things. Those memories are sure to come back around but by giving in to negative emotions, you really only hurt yourself.

You really shouldn't let your present or future be dictated by one instance or past situation that has occured in your life ... each day is a new beginning and one day farther away from what hurt you. Think of it as a bag of bricks, set it down! You'll find that by lightening your shoulders will allow your heart to breathe easier.

The decision, is yours.

Joey

You have to ask God to HELP you forgive. It IS difficult, but recently I was "instructed" to forgive someone who had hurt me terribly.

There are SO many scriptures on forgiveness. Here's a good bible resource for you. You can search a certain topic, keyword or book and get all of the scriptures relating to it. I would type in forgive and see what pops up. (That's what I did).

"...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...". In order to do what we must do, we must get God's Word in us...

I'll keep you in prayer...

You must forgive others. No matter what they have done.

It is the command of God.

To not forgive hurts you. If you desire God's blessing, you must forgive.

You may think it is impossible to forgive someone who has deeply wronged you. With God it is possible. He never asks us to do something we cannot do.
MATTHEW 6:12,14,15 NKJ
12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Yes it does.

"You've probably heard the old saying, "Don't get mad, get even." Well, here's some good advice for you: don't do either. Anger robs people of the joy of christian life. On the other hand, being quick to forgive will help you defeat those angry feelings. Ask God for his strength to swap you anger for His joy."

"Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord." Romans 12:19 NLT

Here is a prayer that may help you to get out of anger and bitterness.

"Dear God,
please help me to control my anger. Nothing good comes from doing things out of rage. I will only hurt You, myself and others. I want your spirit to control my words and actions. Fill me with your peace, so that I can react to unpleasant situations in a way that's pleasing to you. In the name of Jesus I pray, AMEN."
