Do you know a lot of "little children" who do heroin?

The King James Bible has no business in the hands of a child. That filthy book includes Incest, Rape, slavery, misogyny, infanticide, Cruelty, violence, talking snakes and it teaches Hate.

It should have an 'R' rating and continue to be banned from public schools.

Yes. I went to public school when prayer was allowed, and discipline was maintained. It was after prayer in school was removed that all the trouble started. there is a move to put prayer back in the public schools and I thing that it will have a major positive effect. Maybe, jest maybe, we could save a number of kids from being murdered or suffering fatal drug overdoes with Jesus walking the hallways of our public schools. Isn't having prayer in public schools worth the lives of innocent children? Or, do you believe that the personal rights of atheists should preempt a student's right to have a safe and healthy place to be educated? Jesus loves you.

No. Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, preachers scored the lowest. The intelligence of some preachers is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation. So having them teaching them the bible alone is not a smart idea. Let alone teaching them it as "truth" even though we all know it isn't.

school is about learning. children should have the right to know the basics of all major religions.religion within our country, has covered every facet of our society.to not include religion in our classroom, is to teach our children only half the story.wouldn't you agree, that if kids learned about Jesus, Allah, and Mohammad in school; kids would learn an unbiased view of all the major religions, where as he can make up his own mind. he would not be seeing God in Church, but he would see every facet of God.i am not saying kids need to learn about specifics of any religion, rather kids should have a basic understanding of all major religions.i don't know everything, so i cannot say that i am totally right either, only that man who does not grow in Spirit has a fool for wisdom~~~
God Bless

I doubt it. It is possible that better parenting skills would help children get good grades and stop them from doing smack.

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God; that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship; that the legislative powers of the government reach actions only; and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state."

-- Thomas Jefferson, in letter to Danbury Baptist Association, 1802.

I doubt it. A good share of young gang members go to church with their mamas. They have to want to be clean and decent no matter what. Their parents can provide the religion -- having it in the schools won't make a difference, except those who do not have those same beliefs shouldn't be subjected to it.

Just simply putting the bible inside of any building will not cause all bad things to stop.

If we start living, and teaching it, then not all kids will stop, but the pendulum will start to swing back toward better behavior.

public school is to teach children math, history, science, social studies and the like not some stupid cults beliefs. If you put the bible in school your trying to push your religion on other people who may not want it. believe it or not muslims don't want to read your stupid bible nor do they want have it forced upon them, do you see them forcing theirs upon you and your kids? Do the buddists push there beliefs on you and your kids? you christians need to get over it. leave your ridiculous ideas for church. school is no place for it. its supposed to be an educational experience for all children not a missionary expidition to tell kids they are going to hell... you people disgust me.
