In the State of New York:
Take defensive driving every 18 months.
Negotiate with the office for something without points.
Plead it down in court.
Pay $5 MORE than the ticket requires, they will send you a refund check - DO NOT CASH IT, and in the computer it will be listed as "PENDING" - after three years it will automatically be dismissed.

Depends on the state you live in. Some offer "probation" to remove them. Some offer classes to remove them. All states expire points after X number of years.

Go to traffic school instead of paying you ticket. And drive better you get points back over time

Keep your tickets under 9mph over and they don't give you points in some states. Basically, just slow down and they come off eventually.
