No, they can even be mothers and if they are widowed they can be a nun. They are celibate, devoted to Jesus and are married to the church per say when they enter.

Nuns take the holy vow of celibacy and as a result do not marry. Virginity was never a criteria or barrier stopping any good person from serving God.

You don't have to be a virgin to be a nun. They forgive you for sinning, and then you have to remain pure for the rest of the time you're a nun. Therefore, no getting married.

Don't know about the virgin thing. But they could certainly lie. I don't imagine anyone is going to check. And not having a hymen isn't proof anyway.

once you make a commitment to the LORD ALMIGHTY, you should remain true to your commitment. if you were committed to serve the LORD as a virgin, you should remain true to such commitment. your can also serve the LORD GOD through your married life. Never be a hypocrite.
