Is there some kind of chemical release that children get from sleep? I just don't understand. I take a 25 min nap and I wake up wanting to sleep for 10 more hours!

my daughter is the same way. If she was to wake up 5 min after going to sleep she would be up until bed time the next night. Let me know if you come up with a solution

Its called a cat nap! Or a power nap. Its refreshing enough to recharge their batteries without leaving them overtired.

lol that sounds like my daughter i try to avoid letting her falling asleep in the car on the way home because if it's past 15min she's up and ready for round 2. the good thing is she'' usually go to sleep at night earlier but it doesn't help for that mid day break. : )
