i've recently started having sexual intercourse. the day after i lost my virginity, and after all of the other times i did it.. i experienced pain. i know this is normal in most cases but it's a pain in the urinary tract?, not really vagina. it feels like burning or like i constnatly have to pee. symptoms of a UTI. i thought it was a urinary tract infection but i got tested for that and it came out negative. it usually only happens the next day for a few hours then goes away.
also, is it true that after having sexual intercourse it could cause a change in your menstrual cycle and cause it to be late even if you're not pregnant? ive had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate insdie of me. my boobs are growing but i think i'm having a growth spurt. i shoudl be getting my period soon within the next week or so & usually this breast tenderness happens as part of my PMS. i dont think its pregnancy related becuase there is no nipple tenderness. thoughts, comments, suggestions? please

See a doctor promptly.
You have probably acquired a sexually-transmitted disease.

I’m 27 and sometimes I get those symptoms after sex. I’ve also had problems with UTIs. I’ve found it helps if my husband washes his hands before he fingers me and washes his penis before sex. I also try to make sure I’m wet enough before we start the sex. If I’m too dry we use some KY lubricant. But this problem is probably something you should discuss with a medical doctor.
About being pregnant, usually symptoms of pregnancy don’t show up before you miss your period. But if you keep having unprotected sex you’re going to have this anxiety every month. And withdrawal is not a very effect form of birth control.
I would personally suggest you go on the Pill and use condoms. The Pill is 99.9% effect when used correctly and condoms will protect you from getting some disease that you’d suffer with the rest of your life. You’ll need a prescription for the Pill, if you’re not comfortable talking with you normal doctor about this, see if there’s a Planned Parenthood nearby, that’s what I did when I was your age. They can check for STDs and because of your age, might not charge you for examinations or the pills.
I know when I was your age I didn’t use condoms because I wasn’t worried about STDs. For some reason I thought there was a cure for most of them and the ones that weren’t curable weren’t too bad. I was wrong. Years later I learned (luckily not the hard way) that chickenpox are a type of herpes and Herpes is not curable. Have you ever had chickenpox? It’s not something that you’d ever want to have on your genitals.

Ok, first, STOP having unprotected sex.
Second, intercourse can irritate your urinary tract even if you don't have an infection, which would account for the discomfort there.
BUT, you could also have an STD, so get tested for everything just to be safe.
As for the rest, I hope it is just PMS, but to be safe, if you don't get your period on time, then take a pregnancy test as well, and from now on, use a condom.

My dear, if you are having pain after sex you need to see your doctor! You could have picked up an std or an infection from your partner. If that isn't the case you could have a problem with the whole idea of sex and the pain could be caused by your mind. You should never have unprotected sex! NEVER! You can get pregnant from his pre ejaculate, most men have some sperm in it. A small amount ,true but it only takes one of the little buggers to get you pregnant. perhaps you could find someone that you trust and is well informed to ask these questions to and get much more information before you do the sex thing again. Good luck with this.

Discomfort from intercourse is not uncommon, however what you describe is and if you are sure it's not a UTI then get checked asap for STDs, or anything else your doctor thinks it could be. You've chosen to fool around unwisely (no protection), think a little more about your own health and safety.
I've never heard of intercourse changing your menstrual cycle (if you weren't preg) but YES you could be preg even if he didn't ejaculate inside of you. THAT is not a reliable form of birth control. Please use that wonderful organ between your ears, and make better decsions in the future. Growth spurt generally means upwards, not breast enlargement. At 17 you could still "fill out" some, but as you are sexually active, rule out the possibility of pregnancy asap, for your peace of mind. And use better precautions in the future...it's well worth it!

First of all, don't stress over the menstrual cycle if you're a couple of days late, worrying will only make it more irregular. About the unprotected sex, please be careful. You said he didn't ejaculate in you, but what you need to know is that every man has pre-*** sperm that can escape the penis during intercourse before the actual ejaculation, these sperm can still get you pregnant. Not really sure about the uncomfortable feeling you have regarding urination. May want to ask a dr. just make sure that everything is ok.

Let me fill you in on a bit of info. I worked at a pregnancy center for awhile so I know what I am talking about. If you are sexually active than right now you are 10 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO HAVE A DISEASE than you will ever be pregnant. And that isn't all. I can about guarantee that every girl that is sexually active is carying up to 3 STD's. There are over 30 STDs out there right now - some incurable(you get it - you got it for life) some curable, but ame you won't know you have until its too late. It is always worse off for the girls than the guys. Please be careful! Every girl having sex right now is also supposed to be tested for chlomidia EVERY 6 MO.S I hope there is nothing wrong with you, I hope you don't have a disease. Please hear me out on this one I know what Im talking about.

Yes, sexual activity can change your menstrual cycle.
Happened to me in fact.
As far as the pain, you'd have to go see a doctor for that.
It could be MANY things.
For peace of mind, go see a doc.
