Sometimes a lot of stress builds up in someones life. Things can get to people, like money, family problems, issues with your significant other. When couples are going through hard times with each other, like a death in the family or issues with each other, sometimes they turn to someone else, maybe someone else who can help them or make them feel wanted and better about themselves. Sometimes, it is a self esteem issue, and sometimes its because they aren't feeling loved enough in their relationship. My fiance cheated on me...we were going through so much during that time. His mother is terminally ill with cancer, and she was having a hard time with it then, my grandmother had died, we hated our jobs, we fought all the time, and I think he was perhaps questioning us and our relationship, but didn't want to break it off because he really does love me. I started talking to an ex boyfriend, getting cloesr until I realized I didn't want to be doing it. He realized he was cheating and it wasn't helping and he stopped. Sometimes stress can do it, sometimes things in life are too much for us to handle. I'm not condoning cheating at all, it is one of the most horrible things a person can go through. I'm just sayign that there are other reasons aside from just wanting to get laid, or have your cake and eat it too.

If they really love them, they won't cheat.
Sometimes, people question the love they have, or think they have, so they go out and test the waters so to speak.
It's also an easy way to end a relationship that one doesn't want to be in.
Other times though, they really did just mess up and while it is not something to take lightly, forgiveness and communication is the only way to deal with it and move forward.

we don't....if we truly loved them, we would not cheat....unfortunately, the definition of love is defined by soap operas and movies...merely saying it and "deeply liking" someone is not true love....
