I have a great reverence for God. There is fear in a sense, but it's not the sort of fear that I grew up with or that I understand you to be speaking of.
I need to be aware of my actions, but not paralyzed by fear.
I think I John give a good picture of the Christian walk. This is my favorite part:
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. I John 4:17-19

I think what is trully SAD is the ones that don't believe in God, now the problem is not God or the Bible, it is how men turnd and twisted that around and made "religions" out if this. When well God is not religious nor is He a religion. And as far as books are concernet, it is the only one in the world that is totally true.
Now as far as fear. I don't know what your believes are but with the Lord, He knows we are not perfect and once your are saved, if you realize you have comited a sin, you go to Him and simply but sincerely repent.
2 Timothy 2:17 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

i admire what proportion anybody is answering for Christians and nodding alongside with this ridiculous generalization. If Christians went around telling atheists how they experience those comparable people making ridiculous claims that Christians stay in concern might in all probability freak out. I dont stay in concern. What good do you need to tell people how they experience? concern interior the scriptures (that's definitely known to be the final interpretation) is reverent awe or admire. The scriptures make it very sparkling so which you may no longer stay in concern, by any potential, while you're trying your ultimate to stay the gospel and the only Christians that should concern in the way you're using it rather is in the event that they're doing issues they comprehend are incorrect and not repenting or attempting to do greater effective. I dont stay in concern different than in specific circumstances for the time of Halloween whilst i pass to a haunted maze or watch a frightening movie, yet that variety of shock is exciting.

No they shouldn't.. if someone believes in Jesus Christ then and they ask him for forgiveness for their sins they are forgiven by the Grace of God... No one is perfect and we all make mistakes... Regardless we will be forgiven if we ask forgiveness with our heart... If a sin is committed intentionally over and over again it is wrong and God knows you are doing it intentionally.. Its their own guilt that has some Christians living in fear..

No because once you become saved you have the ability to ask for forgiveness from your sins. The most severe punishment comes from living in sin and not having God in your life when you die.

I think Jim Darwin is being sarcastic, hmmm?
They need to realize their own bible can show them why they are free and fearless and all equally loved.
http://www.gospelrevolution.com This guy spent years making money on people's fears of God. Now, he may be broke, but he found the truth and will never stop telling it. Good teacher and researcher.

I don't live in constant fear because I know that my sins are forgiven because God sent His only begotten son to die for all my sins before they are even commited.
He is a loving God, actually the Bible says God IS love! He does not want to condemn us, we do that to ourselves, God just wants to save us from our own hell here on earth, and also from the hell in the afterlife.
So to answer your questions, of course not, how can I fear someone who loves me so much that he would sacrifice His only son in order to save me from my own torment!
God Loves YOU

They seem to live in a bigger fear of those who do not believe as they do...the mere thought of a logical question terrifies them.
