We think we can defy God and ignore His ways and then we wonder why things don't go well. All we have to do is follow His ways.

Because people are ignorant and believe what they see on tv represents the majority of the world.
When it does not or it would not be news.
Most people today are far better off than they were 100 years ago. The poorest person in industrialized nations lives better than the wealthiest king 1,000 years ago.
It's all about perception and the media distorts perception. Bible thumpers do their part when they proclaim "the end is near," which they have been doing for nearly 2,000 years.
Relax, it isn't as bad as some would have us believe.

If you read the bible, you'd know exactly why, and how man is now wher he is (all that's going on around the world) and where man is heading. You'd be surprised of all the accuracy of the prophecies and also how God new all this (how man would be. because he chose to live without God (good) and how He remedy to this plague.
Read the Bible it is ALL THERE all your questions have their answers there....
