if she is super young, tell her mommy and daddy were play wrestling, and leave it at that, she doesnt need the truth
if shes older, show her on TV how wrestlers get all sweaty, she doesnt need the truth
now if shes even older, tell her the truth, she needs the truth,
at a young age, children dont need to know about sex, there is no point, they wont be having any for some time, and it is also a way to make sure that if something bad ever happened, she would be able to truthfully explain what happened,
remember you are her mother and not her friend, and not telling her will save all involved some time, so tell her when its right and when she needs to know

It depends on the age of your daughter. If she is 5 and under, all you need say is this is one of the ways mommies and daddies show each other how much they love each other and leave it at that. If she is 10 and under, you may have moved up the date a tad in terms of the birds and bees conversation. If she is between 11-14, she may need some consolation if she thought you were being hurt (vocal sounds sometimes get misinterpreted). At 15 and older, just apologize and promise to keep your door locked.

Um I guess it really depends on how old she is and her capability of understanding. I would suggest going to the library getting a few books reccommended for her age and sit down and discuss with her what it is . If she is old enough make sure she understands that sex is healthy in a relationsship and mommies and daddies do it because they love each other. Good luck!
And I think you know by now from all the suggestions to lock your door, but things happen...children walk in on their parents..it means nothing about your parenting or lack of it..You obviously are a good parent or you wouldn't be concerned about how to tell this to her. Good luck!

I don't know how old your daughter is but if she is old enough to under stand what you were doing she is old enough to under stand that it is natural for the 2 of you to make love and that it is something people in love with each other do. If you feel the need to discus it with her you may want to take the attitude that it is no big deal it is what people do and maybe you could be care full when you have sex ,to make sure that you are safe from interruptions.

Well, I have kids too and we've been walked on before also. It depends on their age. Our almost 2 year old tell me, "No, no!" Cause she thinks that I'm hurting mommy. Tell your child that this is what parents do to make babies or because we are showing our love for one another. Or something like that, still depends on age of child, I think.
Hey, I've even had my mother walk in on me and my first wife. That was difficult trying to explain what we were doing!

It depends on how old your daughter is - if she is 4 or older I would think you could start explaining the birds and the bees to her. There are some great books that will help you do this. If she is younger...hmm...I'm not quite sure!

You've gotta tell your daughter sometime about sex, condoms and the dangers of sleeping around like STDs. Take time now to teach her about one of the most basic instincts of humans, procreation. Of course, you might need the support of your husband, so ask him to help.

Explain to her in an adult way what you were doing. Sex isn't a shameful thing. Next, if you haven't already done so, buy a lock. While sex isn't a shameful thing, it's common decency to not expose other people, including your daughter, to your sexual relations.
