At 15, if you are truely over weight, talk to your family doctor. S/he can help you set goals and come up with a plan to reach those goals. It is extreamly important that you get help from a doctor or your parents, do not try to starve yourself or use laxitive etc..
Eating foods that are not processed, ie; fresh fruit and vegetables that are uncooked or lightly steamed are the most healthy foods. Getting daily exercise is important as well, I dont mean to get on the floor and do push ups or situps, but just get outside and do things, walk, ride a bike, swim, jog, play sports, hide and seek etc.. just move more. Even while watching tv you can stretch or dance or walk in place. Keep moving it burns calories. But be sure to talk to your doctor for further advice!
REMEMBER your weight does not determine who you are or your worth. Every person no matter how big or small has worth. Looks will fade with age, but a loving heart and good attitude will serve you a lifetime.

Weight watchers works great! And, they have programs for teens to follow as well. Most of it is portion control and of course cut out all the munchies. Exercise will also help burn the fat. Good Luck!
Basically weight watchers works on a point system, every portion of food is a certain number of points. And, don't let anyone tell you that it doesn't work because it does. I lost 26 pounds in 3 months and it felt great! And it's also not very expensive, check out the website.

* Maximize your energy output
* Minimize your energy input.
Exercise more: lift weights, run, play sports
Eat less: Look at the calories at everything before you eat. Don't worry about the fat content, it is the calories that really matter. Try to drink lots of water.
It will be a very slow process (5-7 lbs loss a week is a lot) but be consistent.

Eat only at set times and include fruit as part of your diet. I have found grapefruit to help me lose weight and of course, work up a sweat when you exercise.

Don't bet on a three legged dog.
As far as your weight is concerned, eat less and execise. Or, decide that the people who taught you that you are fat are ******** and you should kick them.
