I am honestly only here to look for what appear to be good or sincere questions and only answer the ones I may be of help to.

These aren't message boards. You're right. If people want to argue or debate, take it somewhere else! For the most part, I try to avoid "questions" that are just pointless and/or confrontational.

I think you make a great point! However, you are doing the same thing you are describing everyone else is doing. To avoid this analytical thinking, I suggest that you don't discuss religion with anyone that doesn't have the same beliefs as you might aspire to believe. I find that this only causes more problems than what you set out to accomplish.

In simpler terms, this country was built on the 1st amendment of the counstitution, and people have the right to believe in what ever they want. This is what makes this country so great! The only down fall to this is that it makes it so controversial with so many other religions (at home and around the world). This is why so many countries around the world despise and hate the United States.

Some people are insecure about their religion.
I dont know why atheists have to argue, according to them we are all going to die and end up as nothing anyway. It doesnt seem logical that they should need to argue, other than they might be insecure.

However, Christians try to inform other religions out of love. Since Christians believe Jesus is the only way, they want to share it with others so that they will not go to hell. It should not be out of animosity, but love, so that others too will find truth.

It matters what you believe, not what other WANT you to believe. Faith comes from believing , not being told what to believe. You make that decision not others.

Yes, I too get upset when people slam you with what they believe is right by them, but they are taught by example not by the faith you have.

You have to make the decisions that you believe. Nobody can force their beliefs on you unless you want to believe the same as them.

As soon as Christians reject the "Great Commission" and the idea that all people who are not Christians are wicked & evil, we might be able to get somewhere. (ditto for Muslims RE: wicked & evil)

It's hard to find common ground with people who want to murder you based on nothing more than choice of beliefs or non-beliefs.

Um, I agree with you, but chill out. Thats the way it's been for all time and that is likely the way it will always be. One group thinks that they are right, which then translates to they are better, which translates to war, and then one side wins and they think that they are right, and the cycle starts anew.

The fact is that you are overreacting to some perceived criticism. Well, one of the things that we do here is criticize others and receive criticism in return. It allows us to learn more about other people and more about ourselves. By being put to the test, sometimes by harsh words, we are forced to think about things in new ways. This allows us to grow.

Also, it would be easier to take you seriously if you did not use the abbreviations "u" for "you" and "b" for "be."

I understand what you are saying but we have to ask what Jesus would want us to do. He asks that we share Christ and His Word with others.
It is not about religion, it is about a Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God. It is a message of forgiveness and love and life and freedom. Why would we ever want to withhold sharing???
