The repeated asking of questions, worded perjoratively, are not an attempt at evoking open thought or debate. It is trolling. Don't like the church, fine, I don't like brocolli, but I don't prattle incessently about it. The only reason I bother answering you (aside for the 2 points) is that there are younger people who might not recognize your trolling for what it is.
Its normal for young people to have questions about religion, but reading your anti-catholic diatribes and uninformed biblical references is not helping them, it is a lie set out to confuse them.
But upset with you, no. Your ignorance is a cause for pity, not anger.

Catholics have NOT been persecuted for thousands of years!
Catholics have been the persecutors. The Inquisitions and the Crusades and various other misdeeds were Catholic inventions intended to stamp out all non-Catholics. They systematically targeted Muslims, Jews and minor Christian sects for about 700 years, until they achieved dominance in the business of religion. Now, the Catholic church claims to represent all Christians?? They have so much power in the South American countries, that you must be a Catholic to have a job in government. In the United States, the Catholic church owns 20% of the property.
No, Catholics have NEVER been persecuted!

I'm not upset with you. You have a right to your opinions and religious beliefs. I can't be upset with you for your ignorance of the Catholic Faith. Catholics have been persecuted for thousands of years, it's nothing new under the sun.

No you are uninformed and asking questions..I imagine you have been feed a lot of misinformation and consider the Church evil which it far from. Asking questions is not bad being inflamitory is pointless. We're supposed to love on another. Read the Catholicism For Dummies, simple easy to understand.

No, I am not upset with you. I encourage any person that seeks answers about other's beliefs. Especially if the way that they were taught about other's beliefs were incorrect in the first place.
