I had a friend who wanted to meet someone. She was a lot older than me and wasn't the bar type. We put an ad in a newspaper but it was only a local one because we couldn'y afford anything else. Anyway, I came across an internet site that flashed up in a pop up whilst I was downloading music. It was for a dating site called Loopy love. I checked it out and it was free.
So I called her and she came over and she asked me to show her what to do. She wasn't computer literate so I made myself a profile, even though I had decided I wasn't dating ever again after a horrible relationship, and she watched me, so she would know what to do. Then we did her one. It was a bit of fun.
A few hours later, I had one message, from a guy who said he was in the same town as me. As it was an internet thing I knew I had no obligations to him, so I could have a little fun. We emailed back and forth and after about three emails I realised that he sounded my cup of tea.
We swapped numbers and I found out he worked on my road. Better still he was the guy I waved at flirtaciously every day on my way into town. Even better still, the photo he sent me confirmed this.
Anyway, we started dating and now we're getting married!
I wasn't a computer freak, but I found love by accident haha.

I met my boyfriend on the Internet the first time i met him i didn't really fancy him but i thought ill give it a try and now we have been together for over 2 years so all i say is give it a go you never do know what the future holds.

met her in a bar on a mates birthday she wasnt going to go but she was persuaded to by another mate of my mate (hope that makes sense) she flirted but i was too shy to flirt back in front of all my friends so she got really drunk cus she didnt think i liked her. she got my phone number off my friend txt me saying she liked me and that she hoped she didnt make a fool of herself, we met up a few days later and we have been going out for a year and 1 month now

i used to work at a gas station and he was the customer i thought he was cute so i asked him for his number. he gave me a fake name at first cause he thought i was arabic. then we started to know each other and i found out his real name and since then we have been living together. weird huh.
