Some scientists are Christians.
Some of the Christian scientists are Catholics.
Some Scientists are Atheists.
The Catholic Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation.

to me as wanting to be a Scientist and been a Catholic their is absolutely no majority in saying what a scientist is. I mean yes some question the ability for them to go against gods will and how some believe in evolution and not THE BIBLE. as for me i do not believe in the bible either .. and yes i call myself to belive in someone but no God or atleast not the way society has put god to be. i mean i belive in humans and how sometimes they can be kind. but to me i need the Truth and not a book that has this words of lies.. which i don't belive.. so the answer to your ? is impossible because everyone has thier oppinions of why they do what they do.. and lets just say some scientist believe in more that the universal force out thier ..

Scientists are people to, which means that they are all of different religious beliefs. They could be Atheist, Christians, Catholics, Satanist, Deist, Pagan, Hindu, Islamic, anything!

Are you confusing Science with The Church of Scientology? people come from all walks of life, just cause they are in one occupation don't make them all the same.
