You need to double check, however I've flown all over the world and never had any problems with packing electrical items.
I can tell you, unless you are planning to stay at a real cheap place most places now have hair dryers and irons in the room. That only leaves the hair straigtner, to pack.
Where you run into problems are the travel versions that use little gas cartridges. NO gas cartridges in check in or carry on bags. Also they don't like aerosol cans! Hair spray and such needs to be in the pump bottle, or better yet just grab some when you get there.

I am a hairstylist and have traveled SEVERAL places with everything packed in my suitcase. My scissors, my hair dryer and flat iron- everything. Except for chemicals. Never had a problem, I am sure that you can call the airline you are traveling;ling with and ask the rep if your things will be alright. The main thing is that those items are heavy. They really add up fast as far as the weight of your baggage is concerned, so watch that. Otherwise, just ask! :)

There are specialty travel hair dryers and irons and such. Those should be fine to pack. If you have questions about specifics, it is best to contact the airline directly. If they have issues with it, I'm sure they sell cheap hair dryers in Majorca!

I thought hair dryers were fine, I think the rest is too it's just that some of that stuff uses gas cartridges which must be packed in hand luggage, that may be where the confusion lies. Phone your airline, it's far simpler that trusting people on here!

Call first!!!
Travel Agent/Agency(if any)
Airline
Hotel at Destination
You never know till you ask. There might be conveniences that your hotel is willing to provide free of charge and which could save you tons of hand and backache carrying all those luggage (They don't call it LUGgage if you didn't have to lug it around... hehe) and as a plus, you get more wieght and space for souvenirs on your return trip!
Your airline can give you heads up on the security on all sides of your flight. You might get through in your airport but you might get held up in a stopover or at your final destination becuase of different security issues.
Your travel agent can coordinate all of this for you, if they haven't, tell them to.
Anyways the general rule is anything that can be used as a weapon is a major NO-NO... sharp objects, hard objects, accelerants(even in small doses), igniters, etc...
Bon Voyage!

Pack light. Few light shirts for daytime use, several undergarments, at least 2 swimwear, 1 jeans (yup!), 1 shorts, 1 pair of sneakers, 1 pair of flipflops. Never mind the hair gadgets as most hotels have hairdryers. Go au natural! Then transfer dollops of your fave moisturizer, sunscreen, your pills/vits./medication in a pill box. Buy small sized lotions. When packing shirts, roll them instead of folding. You can squeeze in more stuff when you do that. Have fun!

I travel frequently from the UK to Southeast Asia. Unfortunately i live by my hair straighteners and hair dryer anyway through my travels i have yet to encounter any problems with immigration or customs. maybe its due to security reasons ie. resembling a weapon type thing..

I agree with the first answer (phoning your airline). With all the security today--these things could change from day to day. Have a good and safe trip. :)
