I totally agree with you. Why can the US have nuclear bombs and wmd and we do have them. Why cant other countries. Its none of our business. Read the constitution we are not to go to war with any other country unless that country attacks us. But what do we do we invade countries that have disputes with other countries and stick our big fat noses into everything. No wonder America is a HATED country.

As an American citizen I think that is a stupid question. Yes America does do some stupid things but we are the world super power. We try to keep peace. As far as America attacking Iraq I think it was a very very stupid move because Iraq doesn't have military capacity to hurt anyone we made sure of that during the Operation Desert Storm. But as far someone attacking us we are the world superpower if you mess with the giant that supports and backroll everyone then the world will have problems. America has the ability to hit any country with a nuclear warhead so it's not like Iraq. If it isn't a hostile country that doesn't have a track record we don't pressure them about have WMD. But countries with crazy leaders hell no you don't want them to have any distructive weapons that can put even more tention on the world.

We do have WMDs, we have nukes, and NBCs. On top of this the USMC is the only armed force in the world that is allowed to use Napom. The difference is that the international community has not banned them because they know we are a responsible nation that would only use them as a last resort. Just like beleive it or not, Russia, and there are many others.
No other nation that has permisson to have the WMDs have used thm on there own people. Although there have been unproven accusations about Russia, and China. They are unproven so we in the international community should leave it as rumors and acquzations.
Good question. Not taken personally.

what do you mean, if its found that america has weapons of mass destruction?
what exactly do you think nuclear bombs are? its not exactly a secret that we have them. have you heard of the cold war? and the term mutually assured destruction?
wouldn't it be nice if we could all put our guns down? but there will always be someon to pick it back up. i'd rather have the weapons controlled by a democracy, where there are at least some limits, than by a tyrant who can just kill his advisors if they don't agree with him, and then go do whatever he wants anyway.
what i want to know is why do people like you insist on putting a black and white spin on an issue that has so many colors to it. there is no simple answer for iraq, and questions like this are really stupid questions. why don't you ask something intelligent, like a theological question such as, do you, as a christian believe that Bush went into the war in Iraq for personal reasons? and if so, do you think that he will someday be made to face justice for the sin of doing that?

We have weapons of mass destruction, but the difference being that the US is responsible. George Bush doesn't just get pissed off and send a nuke over to Iraq...while Sadaam could have easily done that. Bush doesn't have total control...the 3 branches keep each other in check and dictatorships don't have that. And I'm wondering, when was there EVER world peace...you can't reinstate something that's never existed.

You are an idiot. Plain and simple. Iran/Iraq/N. Korea wants WMDs for evil purposes. Iran even said they want to "wipe Israel off the map." Also, we don't we WMDs on our own people like Saddaam did with the Kurds (used mustard gas, and other nerve agents). America also doesn't threaten the entire world like N. Korea.
Another point is that Iraq agreed to disarm their WMDs after the Persian Gulf War in accordance to the U.N. They did not, as anyone with half a brain now knows.
I still can't believe how big of an idiot you are to think that your thoughts and ask this question.

The United States has WMD and does not try to hide the fact. The reason for attacking Iraq wasn't simply the fact it had WMD. After the 1st Gulf War, part of the cease-fire aggrement was that Iraq would discontinue production and destroy all stockpiles of it's chemical and biological weapons.
That is why you will not see the US attack Iran. The US/UN has no WMD agreements with Iran.

Yawn, no way. We DO have wmds, and at one time used em. The difference comes in with all the safeguards, restrictions and rules placed on our government on if and how they're used.
Sins, and mistakes inevtiable with any government. We're no exception. Not that it excuses a willfull abuse of power, but we're a rarity in that our system has built in laws and procedures to call nutcase officials to the mat for their actions. Having WMD's is'n in itself wrong. Having wmd's, and no one watching over what you do with em IS. That's too big a threat to ignore.

We have them but we don't use them. That is the classic difference. We use nuclear bombs to end WW II. To force another superpower to surrender. Iraq used chemical warfare against their own people. Bush has not ordered assasinations, or genocide. That is the real difference. If the US was attacked I can assure you there would be a lot less people in this world. It would turn into ww 3
