Oh gee, I wish I known that thirty years ago! If you are interested in a particular girl/woman, there ar ways you can show it. Be a friend (the downside is she may learn to consider you MERELY a friend, but that's not necessarily bad thing). If she is interested, she will probably throw a few signals (what they are is something I'm STILL not good at), and you can plan to do some things together. If you know what she likes, you could plan a museum visit, concert, play, movie, anything which can prompt conversation between you. This one is unfortunately too lengthy to cover here, but there are probably some web sites with other suggestions. Good luck!

Other than psyhcic prowess that you may have, I recommend that you just ask.....you are less likely to get it wrong that way.
