So far, you've got pretty good answers. A lady I work with always looks at it like an egg. It has the yolk, the white, and the shell. However, it still is an egg all in one. You can have just the yolk, you can have just the whites, and you can have just the shell. It's all still known as egg, but it's not complete unless you have all three.

Simple. It is not as u put it in your last question as it is not a literal concept. Firstly, God, Jesus & The Holy Ghost are 3 separate entities. But they all represent each other. To put it in simple terms,It is like a corporation, Mr. Smith & Sons. Mr. Smith is the founding member but his 2 sons also run the company & can sign contracts & make decisions on behalf of the company. If an associate wants to meet with the old man, Mr. Smith, 2 make a deal, ANY of his sons can go & whatever deal that son makes is as good & legal as if the old man makes it. In fact, the old man may put that son in charge of meeting people & before u can set up an appoinment 2 meet with the father, the Old man, u have to go thru the son & whatever decision that son makes is as law because it has the full support of the father. (Like JR on Dallas)Jesus as the son of God is also A God, just like you, your son & your daughter are all HUMANS. The Holy Spirit created by God 2 function in man & replacing the physical presence of Jesus, is also God, as it has the essence of God, just like the American constitution is the essence of America & therefore is America .Therefore we have the Corporation,Which is The Father, The Son &The Holy Ghost, All three Gods functioning as One. Three in One All representing each other with separate functions. Jesus said "Noone comes 2 the Father but by me!!" Therefore Jesus"s responsibilities are known. He is the Son who u have 2 deal with before that appointment with God.The Holy Ghost replaces Jesus after he died on the cross & had 2 return 2 His Father. We all knows God's responsibilities.Everything!! So dont try 2 diss the Trinity just because of how it is written in the Bible. You just may regret it.

I am a born again Christian and have placed my faith in the redeeming power of God the Son, Jesus Christ. However, though I have faith in Him and who He is I cannot fully comprehend in this frail human state God in all His Glory and His awesome power.
The best analogy I can use to explain the Trinity is our own planet Earth. Our planet is one world but exist in three states. We have our lithosphere what we generally call earth with most of its animals, plant life and where we spend most of our lives. We have our hydrosphere which covers more than two thirds of the earths surface and then we have the atmosphere which encompasses the entire globe. It's all one earth but in three different states. It's a weak analogy, especially when trying to compare it to God but I feel it's better than the water analogy (ice, water, and water vapor).
God the Father is God in all His supreme glory. God the Son is the human incarnation of God, who came down to live with us, live as us, suffer the same trials and temptations as us (more so really) and who gave up His life and more so His soul to take on all of our sins to pay the price we could not pay. He who knew no sin became sin. As hard as His physical death was on the cross it was nothing compared to what His spirit went through.
God the Holy Spirit, is God with us today. All who accept and acknowledge His Son, who He is and His supreme sacrifice and acknowledge that we in our sin state cannot attain what God intends for us, we all have died in spirit to ourselves and the Holy Spririt of God resides in us, if effect making us sons and daughters of God. We haven't attained perfection yet because we still live in the flesh, but in a short time, a vapor in God's sense, that too will be corrected.
This is probably no help, most of it you've heard before. I am no Bible scholar but that is the best way I can reveal the answer to your question. Hope it helps to some degree.
Uhhh, I'm not too regular on here so I didn't know your last question.

I will explain it like I explained to my kids.
You have a boombox....it has a radio, CD, and tape deck in it.
It is a radio
It is a cd player
It is a tape deck.
it is also a boombox
The boombox is like the trinity in that way. Each piece has distinct purposes, functions and identities but all of them are the boombox.
I hope this helps.

We have been made in God's photograph. We too are a three section being. physique, soul, spirit. God the father, God the son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. God got here down in human variety as Jesus Christ, and Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to His followers with the aid of fact He replace into going back as much as heaven. So we've the Holy Spirit residing interior us and additionally the finished God head with the aid of fact there is no thank you to chop up them from one yet another.

I understand it this way.God is the Word.
His Son is the Son of Deeds, meaning those who hear the word, and abide by it.
When you hear the word, and do the same, the Holy Spirit is present within you, a spirit of comfort and truth.
This means that all three have become one in you.
An example in our own home :
The father let's the mother and children know his desire.
The mother and children abide by his desires.
There is a good spirit present in that house, providing the father himself sets the example.
So is the house of God, which is us, which is the church, his Son.

First, a note regarding the word "Trinity". You will not find the word trinity in the Bible. It is a word that abbreviates a concept. That concept being that God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct personalities within a single Godhead. It is like the concept of light. Is there such a thing as white light? Yes. Does it exist as one light? Technically, no. It exists as a compound unity of equal illumination of red, green and blue spectrum. So white light does NOT exist? Of course it does. But in the form of three-in-one. Science can explain it, and we have just gotten used to it. In the eternal, such things are equally possible and exist. God is light, and in Him, there is no darkness at all. What color? I would say pure white. I explain this and greater detail regarding the trinity in my study link below if you wish more detail on this question. http://tinyurl.com/phll
Here are specific scriptures in both the Tonakh and the New Testament. Quotes are by God, Jesus, disciples and apostles.
A Child is to be born as a man who will be the Mighty God.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jehovah says that He and the coming Redeemer are eternal.
Isaiah 44:6
"Thus says YHWH, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer [Yeshua], the YHWH of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.'"
Jesus confirmed the above as well as His being the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8
Jesus said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Again, Who is the Redeemer? Who is the Savior? YHWH.
Isaiah 49:26
"All flesh shall know That I, YHWH, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
Before He was born, Jesus identified the trinity.
Isaiah 48:16
"Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His SPIRIT Have sent ME."
Three distinct personalities are seen in Jesus' baptism.
Matthew 3:16
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Jews sought to stone Jesus for claiming to be the eternal.
John 8
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Jesus says that He and the Father are ONE (heis in Greek which means literally the number 1) Jews seek to stone Him for claiming to be God incarnate.
John 10
"I and My Father are one."
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.
Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God."
Jesus does not rebuke Thomas for calling Him God, but rather promises a blessing to those who would believe later.
John 20:28
And Thomas answered and said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Paul confirms that Jesus is God.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men... looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
