My favorite meal to cook when I'm alone...
A small rib steak (medium rare) with a fresh green salad, ceasar dressing, and either some angerl hair pasta with homemade garlic olive oil sauce or a baked potato w/sour cream, chives and fresh bacon bits

I just made this
Boil a short pasta
While pasta boiling....
In a frying pan
Add a handful of onion, pepper (red, green, yellow...)
two mushrooms
All diced
1 Clove diced garlic
olive oil 1/4 cup
sprinkle of capers if you like them
1 can tuna
1 diced tomato
splash of white wine (if you got it)
zest and juice of one lemon.
Let flavors meld together while pasta is cooking
Toss pasta in sauce
Wa la
Yummy

What do we have to work with here?
Chicken or shrimp alfredo?
Spaghetti with a chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and onion
on top with sauce. Garlic toast and a salad!
Steak and shrimp?
We made bbq chicken last night and potato salad and baked beans.
Home made pizza!
Meatball sub?...meatballs, marinara or pizza sauce and mozza cheese. Not very gourmet but very good!

1 lb shrimp, 1 lb bowtie pasta, 1 stick butter. 2 containers pesto. boil pasta until done, strain and leave in strainer. melt butter saute shrimp add pesto.
put pasta in bowl pore over shrimp/pesto mix sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve with salad and fresh sour dough bread!
15 minutes tops!!
