I'm in the US on an H1 visa status based on my Lebanese nationality.
While in the US I recently acquired a European nationality (Belgian). How can I transfer my status from my Lebanese nationality/passport to my Belgian nationality/passport.
Thank you

Talk to the " Belgian Embassy " here in US. U might have to go to "Belgian" once to activate your passport.

You can't, and you don't need to. The Hi status belongs to you, regardless of your nationality. A visa is only for entry into the US. So you don't need to do anything until the next time you leave the US. Then you can apply for a new visa with your Belgian passport.

Simply apply for the Belgian Passport. Since your a citizen of Belgian, you have every right to get a passport from them.

Find out if Belgium recognizes dual citizenship. If they do, you do not have to relinquish your Lebanese passport.

If they dont, when you go to get your Belgian passport-ask if they wish to confiscate the lebanese passort and send it back to the government or if they want you to do it. If they want you do it, then ask them what steps you need to take to do this.
