I real sorry to hear that and it's a pity that there are a few men that know what they want. From experience I would say that the older I got the better I got in understanding myself and what it is I do want in a companion. So I would tell you my friend that the problem may not be you but the type of guys that you happen to come across.I'll tell you this though, when a man really loves a woman he loves her for life.

If you are just dating, don't believe the "I LOVE YOU" claims until the relationship is at least 2 months old....
In the beginning, what they really mean is I LUST YOU. If the relationship grows past the initial couple of months of hot and heavy petting or what ever, and grows in the most important parts of Love: Trust, Respect, Best-friendship
then you really have something.
DO NOT be giving your heart away totally before you have ALL the elements of Love for a good while.
I wish you love

It's called dating, honey. And the only way to overcome this is to realize that there will be many guys in your future who will say they love you (and they do at that time), but then move on. One day, one of these guys will say they love you, and they'll mean it for life. Try not to feel bad about the guys who come in and out of your life now. Like I said, it's all part of the dating game.

We all have this "abuse me" thing going on within us. We have to get to the point where we realize that the words, "I love you" can NOT be said after the first several MONTHS of dating. The male population usually believes that if they say they love a girl, she will open her arms, legs, and pocketbook, to him. YOU need to wisen up, girl! YOU are looking for love and it is written all over your actions. When YOU wisen up about love, then this manouver won't be pulled on you as easily. Don't be so desperately seeking love! BELIEVE that you are worthy of love, and it will truly happen for you. But, true love doesn't happen in one night, or even in one week. Don't give and give of yourself. Kick back and WAIT for what you truly deserve.

We love like that for the same reason we play the lottery lots of losers, but always hoping for the jackpot. Keep being true to your heart the right guy for you will come around.

maybe you should tell them the same-without dropping any anchors and talking about marriages, ticking biological timeclocks and how many kids you want and when... guys are terrified of comimittments and while their feeling maybe true, they canm change more easily than womens'. with men, you want to be close but you wanna give him space... the idea is make him come to you. when he starts seeking you out, you know you have him for a while and that you're the only one on his mind!

Sweetie, you're not neither the first or the last girl that has happened to. I've gone out with guys who swear to love and then they just disappear or stop calling me or looking for me, and look at me? STILL HERE.... Don't worry cos I don't think there's any rush in you to be with somebody who will not love you. Don't you think???? What's not for you, is not for you and that's just something we need to learn!

That's sad. They only say that to get what they want then they leave. The nerve of those jerks. Sadly some guys never grow out of that "tired" pickup line.
