In my opinion, it's Florida, but maybe you can tell me some great places to go in CA. The thing is, in FL you can get inexpensive seafood that tastes fresh pretty much anywhere.

I just thought of somethhing though....

In San Francisco, they have some great crabcakes... and probably other types of seafood, but still in FL, you can get good seafood all over.

I think you are right... there is all kinds of great fresh seafood here in South Florida...

I think the east coast is better for seafood but I'm sure there are some things we don't have that the west coast can get from Alaska much easier.

Neither. You get the best seafood in New England. Maine has the best lobster you will ever taste. I don't even think of Seafood when I think of California or Florida. When I think Of California, I think of sushi and when I think of Florida I think of a nice Cuban dish. mmmmmm
