No, although guys always want to be with girls, they could also use a break.
Not a long one, like one month, but a couple of days would not make a guy break up with a girl.

OK, first off if you are under the age of 25 you really shouldn't be in a serious relationship. The reasons for not getting in a relationship; you have to prepare your own life, whether that be your career, college or whatever dreams you have. Another reason not to be in a serious relationship before you are 25 is because you have a lot of living to do (whoring around, drinking, and being crazy) get all that out of your system... learn about yourself! If you don't know yourself and aren't happy in your life... you cant make anyone else happy. We live in a time where everyone wants a g/f or b/f but no one wants to work to keep relationships together i.e. the current 50% divorce rate. Have fun, date, and sleep around ...or not... but don't tie yourself down to ANYONE until you have achieved your goals.... take care of you first!!!

Wow! Usually it is the other way around. The girls want to see the guys all the time and the guys are busy, usually with their guy friends. This is a situation you have to work out with the guy. Find out what he expects and compromise (each of you) a little and it will all be good.

Well - Guys do want to see their girlfriends - but a break of a few days is fine.. but remember relationships are 2 sided things - dont keep too much control on when and where.. work it out between you..

Relationships are all about give and take so if he cannot understand or respect your need for 'time out' then he is not the one for you. there is more to life than living in each others pockets needless to say, the boredom factor wil creep in rapidly id u two dont have time on your own doing your own thing.

Individuality is very important so keep hold of it.

Absolutely she can have time to herself. At least I encourage that! Even though two people might be terrific together, I still need my own space and time to be me, to have alone time, to just have time to reflect on life itself. Or, for that matter, every now and then (NOT regularly), enjoy a night out with the guys, and she should have a night out with her girlfriends. It's true what they say in my own opinion - absence makes the heart grow fond. If you don't have this time apart, your daily interaction can become stale, since you're not experiencing different things to share with each other in conversation! Autonomy is important in any relationship. Good luck to you and yours!

depends on the guy. most guys are rational enough to understand if a girl needs a few days break. but, with every rule there is an example that breaks it. there do exist assholes who refuse to give their girls a break. so be careful. i know that i personally wouldnt take it as an insult if a girl needed a few days off. especially if it was during that "special week"

I think most people expect to go a few of days in a week without seeing their partner (unless of course they live together) personally, no matter how much I love some one i cannot spend 24/7 with them because they drive me nuts.
