Beer, good beer (not American "piss-water" beer), is an excellent source of calories, B vitamins, and carbohydrates. It is also raises your levels of HDL (good) cholesterol, and lowers levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol. Unpasteurized beers introduce microflora into your intestinal tract that aid in digestion. Beer is somewhat deficient in protein, but if it is not heavily filtered, you can get a little more protein from having it sit on the sediment.
Beer was originally thought to be somewhat divine because those who consumed it didn't fall ill very often. Bavarian monks and other monasteries often took to brewing because they felt that it was a miracle beverage that kept people healthy. We now know that it was simply because the water supply in earlier days was often tainted and fostered all sorts of diseases. The simple act of boiling the water during brewing took care of much of that problem. The alcohol and acid content in the finished product helped keep it clear of pathogens after production.
Unfortunately, limiting your consumption of food to one item will make you deficient in vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients. And, as others have mentioned, the high consumption of alcohol will affect your liver, as well as your brain.
I'd give you six months to a year to live...
(I wonder if Morgan Spurlock could do a beer-only version of "Super Size Me"...)
Remember, "Everything in moderation, including moderation!"

Not long. The alcohol will dehydrate you pretty fast (Know the old saying, "You don't buy beer, you just rent it"?)
You can survive weeks without food, you won't last 4 days without water.

Quite a while, actually. Beer has been referred too as "liquid bread" for a long long time. It contains plenty of calories and carbs .. it would be the lack of proteins that would eventually break you down.

I'd say quite a long time, my friend!
Cheers :-)
