Love is sacrifice .. something that takes years to learn. Infatuation is a crush. If you can't stop thinking about someone, that's infatuation. If you still love someone even if they hurt you so bad that you wanna kill yourself, then that's love.

That is easy once you know the WHOLE formula to LOVE.
Infatuation is equal to LUST. But lust does not make for a lasting relationship. It might carry it a couple of months, and then "reality" set in.
After the initial hot and heavy petting, or more in the beginning of a relaitonship, then both people start looking deeper. Do I really LIKE this person? Can I really TRUST him/her. Do I RESPECT him/her. Is this person a true FRIEND to me...can I think of them as my true BEST-FRIEND.
LOVE = LUST + TRUST + RESPECT + BEST-FRIENDS
In fact, true love can last without the lust. Look at grandma and grandpa. If they stayed together after the lust part died, then they have true love. Same for younger people...if you wanted to stay with this special person, even without any lust, would you?
If you can answer yes, then it could be love.
I wish you love

Infatuation is temporary. Its just like crush .that a person gets carried away by someone ..one can get over it as time passes
But pure love is completely different,it has to be unconditional. One cannot get over it.
one example of Pure unconditional love is a mother's love for her children!
In my opinion,Pure love is all giving and its about seeing the person you love as much happy as possible.

When it is true love you will not have to stop and think if it is, but if you are just infatuated then doubts will start to surface.

If you acknowledge there faults and flaws and really see that they are there but you still want to wake up to that person every morning then its love. If you see there flaws and faults and make up excuses for them instead of accepting them its infatuation.

In my opinoin.... infatuation is what you have before you actually get to know the person.
If you can hold onto those feelings once you are with that person in a relationship, then I would start to consider it love.

infatuation is a strong passion for someone. like crush, it usually is for a short time...but it depends. on the other hand, love is a strong, warm feeling of affection for someone..lasts longer..or forever.

Wow what a great question...
Infactuation is short term and true love is long term.. I think it is very hard to seperate the two in the first stages of a relationship..

PURE Love is when you care for the happines with the person, even if that happines is not with you.
Infatuation is not like that, you tell me what do you feel.
