Don't get a clown! Get a magician or "balloon man". More and more people believe that clowns are very scary to really young children. They don't know that they are supposed to like clowns, all the kids see is strange make-up, big teeth and loud voices! Just get a balloon guy and enjoy the stuff he does....

Look in the local phone book under 'partys" that is where mine is listed. Does your son like clowns? At 1 they may just freak him out a little bit at that age it can be to much and overwhelming.

Yellow Pages.

or, some cities (I'm sure Anaheim does) have Parent magazines and there are always ads in there for clowns, jump castles, etc.

Don't get a clown for your child's first birthday. Any decent, caring, professional, clown will tell you 1 is TOO YOUNG!!!!!!!

If anything, the face paint alone will scare the child.

Don't do it!
