my boyfriend told me he loves me, but when it was time for me to say it back, I accidently sprayed my drink that i was drinking all over him. Why am i having such a hard time to say it back?

Do you love him? If you do, you shouldn't have a problem saying it back unless you're harbouring intimacy issues. If you don't love him, you need to tell him that. He deserves to be loved, or at the very least he deserves the truth!
If you do love him, perhaps you need to look within and discover why it is you have trouble expressing your feelings. Has somebody hurt you? What was your parents' relationship like?

First of all you might not fell the same. but if you do think you love him then it could be the fact of you don't want to tell him and then get hurt. Ive been thought this before and i thought by telling him i love him it would only just open my heart up for pain and that was something i just didn't want. but you have to decide if hes Worth opening your heat up to or not and when you figure that out you will be able to say it or not i did it and i never regret my decision so take your time and just let it come to you.

If you think it's hard to say it, make him feel it. Touch his hand, kiss his lips, hug him tight...maybe that will help you get your confidence to say "I love you" back at him. Well done is better than well said, I guess. Sooner or later, you're going to realize you've already said it to him! Good luck with the "I love you" thingy, okay?

hi.if you do love him,it will come out when your ready.that's happened to me.i met a guy and after 2weeks he told me he loved me.i was so shocked i said thank you.it was to soon for me to tell.but when i thought about it i realised i loved him too.i couldn't say it after that because i didn't want to get hurt.i told him tho when i was ready.
