I insert word or pic. as background in word 2003(format+backgroud), I print it,background is white.?

EDIT: came back to say this is bad advice. I tried this on two printers one printed very light but right and the other nothing. Sop i supsect it could be to do with the printer driver.

When you want to print goto FILE and then select PRINT. Bottom Left of the print DIALOG BOX there is button called OPTIONS. click it.

Under the heading INCLUDE WITH DOCUMENT mark the checkbox BACKGROUND COLOURS AND IMAGES, and then OK

Now print.

Hope that worked.

Alternativly you can also set the options by going to FILE then PAGE SETUP. Click the PAPER tab and then PRINT OPTIONS at the bottom. Then mark the checkbox as above. and OK. If you want you can press default and the setting you just made will be applied to your default template (if you click YES). That way the setting will be applied to any nwe documents you make.
