1, my class is half full
2, i am lucky enough to have the opportunity of having the class
3, i even have a fancy Hawaiian umbrella in my glass

Here's how I look at it:
If the glass was empty and you pour something in to the halfway point, then it's half full. If you fill it to the top and then someone drinks from it and it's at the halfway point, then it's half empty. But if it's just sitting there on the table and I can't tell between the two scenarios, it's just half.
What does that make me? A realist?

I don't have a glass. But there are a few empty cans lying around and I have a full cold one in my hands.

well it was half full but then i got a little thirsty and drank some...now it is like 1/4 full

It is only half full, when I am having a bladder problem, and my bladder is only half empty.
