My Grandmother was running the garbage disposal (96), she disposed of half of her pinky finger (down the disposal). When she went to the doc he said basically your old and have nine others....so live with it.
I'm making a documentary about elderly folks and how their home, their ways are unsafe (rickety stairs etc...)
I need to know what you've seen so that I can include it in the documentary, so as to help others.

take their car keys away and throw them in the disposer.. seriously..
I disagree with the doctors decision.. a finger is a finger and should be saved regardless of age.. no she cant knit you sweaters for winter... and that is a serious loss, right?
