Both are incredible, but I would have to give the edge to Jet Lee because of his speed (he, like Bruce Lee, has to slow down in order to have his moves caught on film) and age (younger than Chan). It would be one great fight, though. I would hate to have to put real money on it.
FYI- Jackie Chan trained at the elite Peking Opera School, which prepared him not only for stage performance, but also for actual combat fighting. Those asserting that Chan is "only an actor" should do better research.

Imo, Jet Li would win, but Jackie is also a respectable martial artist, only hes a funny guy and Li isnt, but that doesnt make him a clown. If u see Chan's stunt documentary, youll see that even at his age, he could still do the what do u call it..the '3-steps climb' that he likes to use in his movies.. and that guy's tough, remember he did all the stunts in the movies himself, no wires.

I'm not sure, they both are very good, but i think Jackie chan would win.
The Facts :
Jacky Chan is funnier than Jet Lee. and
Jet Lee is more serious than Jacky chan.

jet lee would be a better fighter becuz he was a martial arts champion who actually won in many competiutions held during his child hood however jacky chan is just a regular movie star with quick reactions giving him the skills to do well in movies. jet lee would surely win since he was trained to fight

Jackie Chan
He knows Drunken Style for real and holds quite a high rank in it...
he also knows some other traditional Kung Fu of Northern Decent, started in the chinese opera.
Jet Li is almost as good.
It would be close, but the Wushu is watered down traditional kung fu.
2 forms of this, 2 of that....
Uhh.. They made the forms shorter and made entire styles fit into short forms.. I dont find it possible.. They had those movements in their because they were used for something.
Not to judge them..
got respect for Li...
but Im goin with Chan...
he uses wit.
Jackie Chan also uses that flow like water infinate possiblity philosophy that bruce lee used...
Thats mainly the reason why, but its reinforced with his traditional background.
