Why Gay/ Homosexual are asking people to accept them?

Question

Church goes do sin,(and I do too), but none screaming for the church to accept them in continuing in their sin.
Those who smoke may still smoke secretly, but they know it is wrong and do it secretly.
Those who rob may still rob. But they never ask the church to accept them even when they plan the next robbery.
Why gay, when the church accepted them, still want to continue the homosexual lifestyle, and cries that people don't accept them?
As the Bible says, go and sin no more, don't they know it is wrong?

I am not throwing stone, but open my arms to all gays who is willing to repent. I am under grace just like any sinner.

I have read so many negative answer justifying that Gay is right and bible need to change.

If you can not accept the bible, yet want to be Christian or in the Church, Why not go write your own bible, and start your own organisation?

Rather than to say that the church is wrong, and Gay is not a choice (which is not true), and that Christian will be judge in the judgement day?

Man sleeping with man as he is doing to women is wrong. That is simple, just like any other sin.

So, stop practising it, if we are bible beliving or church goer. If not, why bother if the bible is right or wrong.

Let us alone I beg. Stop condemning us for been the way we are. We are just taking the Bible whole sales.

All men have fallen short of the glory of God, all are sinners. It is not that murderers are greater sinners than smokers, or in this case, homosexuals. A gay lifestyle is a preference, not of genetic make-up, as some earlier studies had tried to prove. But I know gays can be humble, peace-loving and tolerant than some 'Christians'. Just as there are atheists, Muslims and Republicans who are more christians than some 'Christians'.

What we all need to do is to realise that we are sinners and need God. If there's no sin, we don't need God. There is no point saying you love God and God loves you when you don't need God because of our self-righteousness.

They are not screaming for acceptance into Church as a whole. They are looking for acceptance in Society, which Christianity won't allow, cause for some strange reason they are obsessing over what 2 adults are doing in their bedrooms

And, sorry, research presented by the US Gov't does NOT say it a lifestyle choice. Actually the White House and the Pentagon made an official statement stating that Homosexuality is considered a Mental Disorder. That's hardly a choice. They brought out this statement on MSNBC and CNN just 3 days ago.

Please quit thinking about what other people are doing sexually and mind your own.

Because they, as many people, don't think that following how God has made them, is a sin. Since they don't consider it a sin to be the way God created them, they would like to be accepted as a member of the church. They want to be part of a group and worship the why they want just like everyone else. Smokers and robbers CHOOSE to do both; gays don't choose to be gay. They just are gay. There's a big difference. For most gays, it is not a lifestyle, it is how they are. You couldn't go against the very nature of your innermost being but yet you expect them to do that because you and your religion has decided that they are wrong.

Because they have the right to be accepted! Any church that descriminates against ANY person is not a real church!
What about the priests that go to death row and help murderers ask for forgiveness for slaghtering people...do you think that's right? There are a lot more things you christians need to be worrying about than what ADULTS do in their bedrooms! You all need to GROW UP!!

Probably for the same reason that blacks, hispanics, and the like do. They aren't choosing to be the way they are; it's simply what they are. Why in the world would a god who created those urges in the first place want them to be rejected and ostraciszed? I think that the story of Soddam and Gamora was just something made up by the ancestors of the Jews to make something they thought was bad seem to be something no one should do.

Your church says smoking is a sin. Wow. People still smoke, if they do it secretly, they are doing it because they want to be accepted.

Robbing you know is wrong.

Homosexuality is not a choice, get that through your head. People should be accepted for who they are. They are not hurting people or killing people.

I bet your church says Pre-marital sex is a sin. Do you participate? Answer that one. Do you people know about other people participating in it, are these people accepted.

Why do straight men ask people to accept them? Some of them are adulterers, some of them are pedophiles - many many more than in the gay population, some of them are rapists, some of them are criminals.

Some 'christians' do not accept gay/lesbian people even though they espouse the 'love the sinner, hate the sin' malarkey. They hate both.

It is only when 'christians' learn to stop hating, discriminating, and inciting violence against all people that they will be living according to Christ's way. WWJD?

I think you need to look in the mirror, and go and sin no more against gay/lesbian people and their families with your hatred.

May it be church, may it be temple, may it be mosque, all these are areas of holy worshipping and blessing.

Sins, all human have sins, since they day we born and after we pass-on. Some Religions may think that by just accepting a certain learning or a certain believe, you will be out of sins or sins-free after this life. Actually we have been bluffed, tricked or covered.

Believe in God, Religions are a way of reliving ourselves from stress, utimate thinking or evil-thinkings. When the day we pass-on, we are still a man full with sins, and unwashable sins. In the whole life, we have been looking down on people (not showing our care to them), we have been giving bad comments on certain people which we don't like or hate (which actually we shall show our greatest love to them) and so.

Since we as human, can't accept and express our love to them, do you think God will also accept them?

As the brothers and sisters or claimed to be the family of all in the Holy World, have you all step out the 1st step to show them your love? Answer is very clear and aboslute.

I'm not falling over to any side, but just think them using the Name of certain Religion(s) to some sort condemn a certain group of people are more "sinner" than this group of people.

May it be man to man, lady to lady, man to lady to man, etc, these all forms of Love and ways of expressing LOVE. If a Religion is able to accept killers, muderers, drug-addictors, etc.. then I think accepting this group of people is nothing. And actually you all are doing a great deed.

Pastors, fathers, priests, etc.. have been educated to be a spoke-men of God, they shall have a clear and accepting mind to accepted the un-accepted issues or events. If one day, you have chance to met with any of the Holy Messagers telling you that we shall condemn such group of people, please call the police or give me an Email, I will like to meet such a person. I think this person and I shall need to have a good talk on how to accept and need him to re-learn the truth behind the Bible.

Gay people who seek the acceptance of their church are trying to find a way to reconcile their emotions with the doctrine of the church. They can do that one of two ways:

1) Accept the doctrine of the church and ignore their feelings, not acting on them and denying themselves a satisfying relationship. I know one or two men who have done that.

2) Help the church change their doctrine. The bible is rife with contradiction and misinterpretation. So are the official commentaries and policies among congregations and sects. People who care about religion desire to have a congregation that welcomes them.

People want to be accepted. They want to love and to be loved and they want that love to be accepted too.

As a people, love and acceptance should be our ultimate goal. Sadly, many people use God's word to find divisiveness and sow hatred among His people. I thought He sent His Son to take care of that.
