All of the above.....if you dont mind me asking is this your boyfriend? And what does this person do when you try to voice your opinion or try to make a decesion. Do you have an example of something recent that happened?

It is when the person has an inferiority complex and is using you to feed their ego. They realise if they allow you to talk, you will actually show how intelligent you are and won't need them anymore. It is the complex coupled with a deep fear of what your independence will do them.

It is controlling. This is a form of emotional abuse. I was in a marriage to someone who was controlling. I can understand what you may be going through.

This will effect your life greatly. You need to seek counseling if at all possible.

That person is an insecure jerk, who you should get away from. (I'm assuming that you're not a child--and it is not a parent you are speaking of).

You are a person, and have the same rights as any other person to voicing your own opinion and doing your own decision making.
