you shouldn't fast more than three days without medical supervision. also, be aware that you will have to significantly alter your lifestyle if you are planning on fasting for a week or more ... you will simply be too weak and tired to do many of the tasks you normally perform.

Unless your detoxing, you should fast at all. If you are just a weekend. Make sure you use suppliments, you don want to loose to much muscle tissue, which WILL happen. We work to hard to look good. I suggest just go to fruit/berrries, veggies, and if you can walnuts and almonds. Just eat that for a weekend you look and feel great without hte fast effects.

Maybe 6 hours......There is no safe amount of time to fast....you will only hurt your body.

But remember that obese and coughing people should follow water fast and others juice fast.
