I am the same way.
I know how frustrating it must be to hear people say "just do stuff".
These people don't understand what it's like to drag your @ss every time you go out.
One thing to consider is depression. If you are going through a depression period, all you want to do is sit around and complain. You can't help the way you feel. You don't like it. But that's the way it is. Cure the depression with medication or therapy and this will help.
Another cause may be your diet. Junk foods like Cola and sugar snacks can drain your energy for HOURS. Just for a few days, try going to bed early, say 9:00pm and try to rest until at least 8:00am the next morning. Then have a breakfast with juice, toast and eggs. Follow up with healthy meals and remember, it may suck to eat healthy crap, BUT it's just for a few days. See if this causes a change in your energy levels and then determine if it's worth it for you.
Finally, always remember that no matter what the task, it's always more fun with friends. Don't want to rake the yard? Invite a friend over to help and in return offer your assistance to him in the future. This way, tasks will seem more like "hanging-out" then actual work.

Good luck.

Do you like dogs? Could you look after one properly eg:walk it every day? If so it would be a good motivator to get you moving. Souns like you are lethargic rather than lazy and you need to look at your diet and exercise because a few simple changes can give you more energy. Seriously, if you had to walk a dog every day you'd get out in the fresh air and sunshine (if it's sunny) and that is so good for you, you'll soon feel better.

Lazy is the word you as an excuse, you have no intention of being active.
Nobody in this world will call themselves lazy. Even they are, they will show, they wouldn't tell.
As the saying goes "If you succeed in life, that is GOD's will, but if fail in life it is, you own will"

Try doing something active that you enjoy doing. I like to run, so therefore I am motivated to run every day. Do you like any sports? If you do, join a team. Also, competition is a good way to get active.

intrinsic motivation- or otherwise known as self motivation
imagine yourself 10 years from now
probably fat and completely out of shape and you get breathless from walking up the stairs...ew! right? you never want to be like that
sooo start with simple stuff
do a few sit ups or push ups while satching t.v. get up to change the channels instead of using the remote
get a group of friends together for daily walks
after a while it will just be adapted as part of your lifestyle

every little bit counts

If you like video games, you can always play DDR. It's a great workout and it's fun. They even have a workout mode that counts how many calories you're burning! I use it as an exercise tool.

if you think you are lazy then u'll always remain lazy. its all in the mind, so firlst u'll need to tell yourself that you dont want to be lazy any more and then work on it and make it actually happen.

go for a short run. you will see that it makes you feel very good. you get a natural high from endorphins attaching to your nerves and you will want to keep doing it. or swimming. its the same kind of feeling.
