no, you're better off having a big breakfast and a smaller lunch and an even smaller dinner. In the morning you have the whole day to digest your food, and in the evening your body doesn't get as much of a chance to digest, and it ends up turning to fat. So the earlier you eat, the better.

It depends on what you eat the rest of the day. The diabetic diet is a good one to use as a guide. It allows 8 ounces of milk, 1 biscuit (or 2 slices of bread, or 1 cup of cereal), plus one fruit as a good breakfast. It also allows a morning snack of one fruit, a lunch of 3 oz. of meat, 2 vegetable servings, and 2 slices of bread, an afternoon snack of fruit and milk, a supper of 4 oz. of meat, 2 vegetables, and 2 slices of bread, and a nighttime snack of one slice of bread for supper. For the bread, you can substitute any starch or sugar that has about 15 carbohydrates (like a potato). You're also allowed 3 fats during the day (6 grams, or about one pat of butter). If you're going out to eat one night, you can "borrow" some of the servings from another meal, within reason.
It sounds like a lot, but by spreading it out over the course of the day, your body never feels hungry, so it never stops processing. Otherwise, if you don't eat anything, it will go into "starvation" mode, and conserve the fat that's there.

Make sure there is a multivitamin in that breakfast! And you will only get skinnier if all of your meals are reduced in size. 1 biscuit and 1 glass of milk for breakfast is pointless if you have a pound of pasta and a pint of ice cream for lunch and a 1/2 pound steak with cream sauce and a potatoe with a stick of butter on it for supper!!! It's kind of like all those people who go to Mc Donalds and order a Double quarter pounder with cheese, a super size fry and then say "better make that a diet soda". Yeah, like that's gonna help!!! LOL

You must look for a correct nutricional diet, not just eat "nothing". That would be the wrong attitude for losing weight, and very dangerous for your health.
