There is no such thing as an "undocumented" permanent legal resident. All permanent legal residents are documented.

I am not sure. I would call a lawyer and ask them if someone hit undocumented permanent legal resident if they can sue. I wouldn't tell them that it was you. I believe if they are illegal then they can't due anything about it because they can be deported back to where they came from. If you are the is illegal the you should call immigration on them and have them look into it.

Unfortunately yes; remember the illegal aliens running from the border patrol in California and the car went out of control and crashed. Some group of lawyers, got together and sue to cops and the people who broke the law, now are rich.

Yes the person can sue you. There resident status does not matter. If you were in the wrong regardless of accidental they have a right to compensation, as do tourist and any other visitor to this nation. A person's home of origin does not remove our responsibility.

You're confused. A permanent legal resident is not undocumented. 'Undocumented' is a euphemism for 'illegal', someone who either came here without a visa, or who overstayed their visa. And I don't find your question funny!
