The answer to this will be based on the political agenda of the country at the time of your graduation, there may be a huge movement to take care of the environment when you graduate. If not you will still be able to get a job that will improve the environment, even if it is working for a Chemistry firm that works at cleaning the environment, that should be a lucrative career, and you know that you are making the world cleaner by proper disposal of chemical waste. Find work that makes you happy and the money will follow... you probably will not be the next Bill Gates... but love what you do and life is good.

Hey, moral satisfaction is highly underated.
You would be better off with a B.S. instead of a B.A. in any science field.
Career options would be city planning, commercial development, government agencies such as EPA, Energy commission, Dept of Interior to name a few--also the military, expecially Army & Airforce bases.
why not take up BS ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE..
does money really matters when choosing a career?!
i mean the best profit one can gain is that he or she could contribute to the society..
just like the saying goes:
don't ask what your society (job) can do for you, instead, what you can do for your society (job)...
There`s lots of money, And we need lots,of students to protect the planet So go get it !.

Any power plants... I have a close friend, that is one of the heads of Edison Power Plant, in California........He not only is a genious, but, he deals with electicity issues, as well as elological issues, in order to protect the public. And, has to make very tedious desicions, whether or not, to use his regards for humanity,or the importance, of what the company calls for: And is wise in his decision choices, because, its always for mankind. Good-Luck!!

If it isn't growing, it should be -----go for it. All improvements to the earth are taken one step at a time. Possibly you could be the one person that takes the proverbial giant step. Good luck.
