I think it's only natural. Call it curiosity, call it confusion, call it a 'phase' you might be going through. There's a lot of times in our lives where things don't seem black and white anymore, where we suddenly start re-assessing everything we have and worked for.
You could be looking at this woman because something is missing in the relationship with your boyfriend. Perhaps he was very loving and sensitive, as this woman is now, and you see this characteristic and its desirable to you.
I would suggest talking to your boyfriend. Tell him that you feel lost at this time in your life, and you want some reassurance of his love. Seven years is a long time, ever hear about the seven year itch? Maybe it's time to face up to your problems with him, or think about changing direction. I don't mean making a move on this woman, I mean doing things that make you happy.
