Church goer does sin, but none are asking the church to accept them even when they are still sinning.
Church accept sinner, adulteous, robber and gay. But not their action.

The bible does NOT condemn gay people at all. Those that think it does are being deceived by whomever told them what scriptures mean. Most Christians have not taken the time to research the bible...to really study it on their own. They rely on their pastors or other people to tell them what scripture means.
They follow blindly....make blind decisions on who to hate and will never doubt scripture. That's the funniest part. Not doubting or questioning something as big as their faith!

If I were a true Christian, I would not only question everything in the bible, I'd research it and get many differing opinions before I made a decision on what is right for me.

All people are created in the image of God. ALL people! Homosexuality is an unchangeable "nature". It is not 'choice'.
It is good, because God created it. It is only looked upon as 'sinful' because Christians think immediately of the sex act itself. They have dirty minds! When a Christian is introduced to a 'straight' person, they don't immediately think of that person's sexual acts.

But...boy....throw in the word "gay" and each Christian will think immediately of the sexual act....therefore having a dirty mind.

No...the bible does not condemn gay relationships or gay sex.
Most Christians do.....but the bible doesn't.

I challenge any Christian to study the below URL with an open mind....if that's remotely possible!

Perhaps they view the bible as a collection of stories and parables that should be used to teach ideas or concepts about the way a church would like one to behave. Perhaps they interpret it differently. Perhaps they are aware that everything written anywhere should be taken in the original context it was meant, and not everything written in a book can be applied absolutely to real life. And perhaps the bible is the greatest work of fiction ever to be converted to non-fiction because so many people have been told it's fact. Or perhaps, they think it's contradictory because according to the bible, God/Jesus loves everyone and we are all "his" children and they don't see how a just God would condemn his own children. Or maybe, JUST MAYBE, the original biblical writings have been misinterpreted from one language to another, from one century to the next and the original meaning has been lost...

The bible also says that having sex with someone who is not your husband or wife or for any purpose other than procreation is wrong. So any man who is having sex with his wife because he enjoys it,even if he's not interested in children should be condemned as well. That is, if you take everything in the bible literally and as fact. Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't mean it's wrong and for anyone to pass judgement on another person like that is probably one of the MOST un-christian thing you could do.

What makes you think they should. Didn't Christ die to save us from condemnation? Didn't he do away with the old law that tried to fit us in a box that we never could fit in? If you follow Christ then why make light of the grace he poured out to his people, all people, no matter what race, religion or sexual orientation. To condemn is to be condemned. If churches were hospitals instead of courthouses maybe we would be more open to each other. More able to forgive and way more accepting of each other. Christ judges our hearts, and I can in no way look at anyone and say " you are wrong in your lifestyle " unless I was perfect. I am not and I hope God's grace continues to cover me in this screwed up world. Can I wish less for anyone else?

Know one want to know they are in sin and it a abomination, it like all other sinner, find away to twist the truth to fit them...

I am a woman that is suppose to have long hair for my covering, and i don't, and can think of a hundred reason why it ok to have short hair, but in all truth it still not.

I even went as far as to buy a wig peice for my hair to wear to church, then decided that a lie on top of short hair, 'Double " trouble.

I am of Holiness faith

They take over pride on the look and appearance

Our culture has became insane with sex. Every where you go. Sence it has become a everyday thing its hard to believe in what the bible says about it. Really technically it is not a biblical sin for someone to be gay. The sin is acting on the urge. No one is supposed to have relations with the same sex. one will know exactly how god treats it untill the final judgment day.

Because often the bible speaks in riddles, and I personaally have not been able to find anywhere where the Bibble specificly says tou shall not be gay. btw, if anyone could tell me where all these place where the Bible condems homosexualty, please tell me. And the Sodom and Goromath dont count. The Bible does NOT say the crime of sodomy was homosexuality, it does not states exactly what the crime was. Many instead see it as men wanting domination over the angels, and therefore god.

Let's clear up the language first. The Bible doesn't "condemn" gays in the sense that it dooms gays to destruction and death.

Homosexuality is pretty clearly sinful in the Bible. I think people don't want to admit it because it would require a gigantic change in their life. They would have to effectively give up sex. That's huge. If you believe that the Bible is the Word of God, however, you can't avoid it.

Romans 1:24-25
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Why do people sleep around and prostitute themselves? People sin and refuse to admit that... Gays sin by having sex with their own gender, and straight people sin by having sex with more than one person... Many people do not think that their behavior is a sin, and that's just human nature. Humans do not want to be held responsible for their actions, and that's true of most everyone.

i don't know.some gays say the same thing about the quran as well.like irshad manji who wrote "the trouble with islam" says that the quran doesn't exactly say that gays will be punished.but she is completely wrong because if she had ever picked up the quran and read it she would know that there is a whole chapter in quran that say the gays will be punish and their punishment should be death

i think that gay people try to justify there action so they just say that the bible, torah or the quran says that to make themselves for better about being gay.
