My exhusband abused my kids and me and dcfs punished me as well as him for it why have they been given so much power to play god.I wasnt abusive and tried to stop him but they still took my kids.Can anyone answer that question for me.

I was in dcf so i can answer this, they probably feel since you never called the police on him you are also unfit as a parent. but that doesn't give them the right not to give you a chance. half to none of them are married with an abusive husband with kids so they shouldn't try to play god cuz they have no damn idea the pain you were goin through. they don't know if he thearten to kill you and your kids if you called the police. but hold your head up has a blessing in store for you. e-mail of you need more advice at lil_nene_531@yahoo.com

When a child is abused, both parents are responsible. When something happened to your child , you should take immediate action if you knew your child was in danger. However children serviced cant take your word for it that you were not abusive because they will be taking a risk if they give you custody of they child.

You probably should have called the police on him. Now you have no proof of trying to stop it.
