God created the dinosaur as it is called today at the same time he created all the other land animals, on the 6me day. The reason you will not find the word dinosaur in the Bible is because it is a recent word, only 200 or less years old. Accounts of "dragons" are in every land of ancient times (china, India, MIddle East, Europe, and Britain), and such a creature as that would fit the description of a dinosaur. The Bible uses terms like leviathan to speak of huge scaled creatures . The behemoth is another term used to describe a critter that we do not think exists today, because no animal around fits all the descriptions.

The bible is not in chronological order as written; the creation story was actually written later than other parts of the Old Testament. It represents folklore historically similar to other religions of the time which had been passed down from generation to generation and meant to tie in a belief in god (or gods) to mysteries which were not clearly understood by people of that time.
Some fundamentalists believe that the dragons mentioned in the bible were dinosaurs, but that's obviously not true, because we know dinosaurs didn't exist in those days. By the description this 'dragon' is most likely a reference to a crocodile (or, as in other ancient references, a large lizard). The bible also mentions the unicorn, a mythical creature - logically their unicorn was the animal we call the rhinoceros.
I found an interesting site that addresses this idea:

The dinosaurs existed from the mid-Triassic (about 225 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (65 million years ago), although one type of dinosaur is still alive - modern birds. Dinosaurs descended from the archosaur family, which crocodilians also descend from.
Many things are not in the Bible. The Bible doesn't talk about the history of China, nor does it tell the stories of Australasians or aboriginal North Americans. This is because many topics like this are not the real point of the bible, which is to describe the history of God's interactions with mankind; the bible is not, as I usually put it, meant as a field guide to pre-history, nor meant as "A History of the World" text.

just because dinosaurs are not called that in the Bible doesn't mean that they aren't in the Bible. There are all kinds of other animals we know about that aren't mentioned in the Bible, so does that mean they don't exist? there are animals mentioned in the Bible we either don't have or don't call them by that anymore, so why not with the dinosaurs too?
Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
Psa 74:14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
Psa 104:26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Job 40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

Simple! Dinosaurs as far as we know could not write and by the time we got round to putting ink to paper, they had been extinct for at least a millennia....
