A jelly Hopper

I have eaten caterpillars and grass hoppers on a bet ..and the grass hopper was the best tasting and it had a crunch to it ...like a snack food really.
I could eat a lot of them if I had to..
and if you deep fry them they are even real tasty real tasty....
so the grass hopper is my choice..

but I bet if you put some breading on the jellyfish and fry it up, they would be a great food too.

smile
good luck

PS: do not eat caterpillars, the little spines hurt and stick to your tongue an throat, then your throat swells up and you can not get the spines out of your throat unless you see a doctor...so do not do this at home..

Well I would have to go with Grasshopper since they probably taste like crickets.
When I was on long range patrol in Panama one of the other rangers schooled me on survival food I ate Crickets, wood boring tree grubs (big beetle larvae looks like a worm)
Crickets are not so bad kinda nutty.
I imagine the toxin in the jellyfish must not taste very nice.
Not that I would turn down some sushi or sashimi for crickets but if those are my only choices gotta eat the bug.

grass hopper because I hate jelly, the jellyfish would sting and a jellyfish is so much larger (more disgusting stuff to eat)

A jellyfish is made of 95% water...so I'd rather just have that in a glass LOL. But grasshoppers...mmm, crunchy and if you smother it in chocolate it might taste like a Crunch bar.

Grasshopper because of the texture. The jellyfish would be too gooey. A grasshopper would be crunchy.
