seems like everyone is blaming god and faith for what the religous people in society have done to the christian faith. you need to remmeber that religion is "manmade belief". denominations make their own rules, whether they think god approves or not. thats completely different from having "faith" in god. think about it and stop bad mouthing god until you try to really put your faith in his teachings.

im not trying to preach to anyone, just adding my reasons for asking the question.so many people are making the determination that the bible is a joke and there is no truth at all to what is in it. thats because god gives us free will to manage this world the way we want to. and any mistakes we make on our own are our own fault . but if you put your faith in him ,he guides you thru this life and to the next life. hows that for a sermon? cant stand peoiple or god telling you what to do? good luck on your eternity on your own.

and as far as science goes, how many thousands of times have scientists said, that they have discovered this or that and eventually changed there findings? take the dinosaurs for exmple. oh, weve discovered that this dinosaur really didnt look this way,he looked this way. science is not perfect and never will be. how many times have they come up with a medicine ,only to find that it will end up killing people eventually and not be the wonder drug it was hailed as?? put your faith in science and medicine. they will steer you wrong eventually.

There is no need to have a supernatural invisible deity in the picture...science has explained way more than that 2000 year old book ever has, and continues to explain more every day. There's no need to explain the "rising fire ball behind the hill" with a god anymore...we know the earth is revolving around the sun. The bible is not true. It makes sense that humans wanted an explanation for things many years ago so they believed in the supernatural...but that is just not neccessary anymore. It's nice to hear that (through the internet as well) more people are finding about about the undeniable facts of evolution and the big bang and are seeing the truth.

Now where do you get that atheists are blaming god? I'm not sure it works that way. When you found out Santa wasn't real, did you blame Santa? And the Christian faith isn't the only faith in the world. For some strange reason, many people seem to think that if you aren't a Christian, then you must be Atheist (and blame God, though I'm not sure how you get that).

I think all religions are morally corrupt, how dare they claim to know what God thinks, and where did you find teachings from God that haven't been twisted to accommodate the authors agenda

was this a question, or a sermon?

this is a place to have questions answered, not your very own captive audience to preach to.
