I see it all the time where guys like girls they telll their buddies they like her, yet they dont ask her out, Almost 100% of the time a girl will say yes to a guy if he asks her out. SO WHY DONT THEY JUST ASK????

Because some women are REALLY mean in their rejections. I asked a girl out once and she laughed, I was in high school but that really hurt. Also, girls like to say that guys like them, so she will tell her friends and all of a sudden, everyone knows that yo ugot turned down, which means no one would accept your proposal because no one wants someone else's rejection. I'm so happy I'm married now.

Asking someone out is tough. There's always a chance of rejection, and guys are just about as afraid of rejection as girls are. Many guys even find it a relief when a girl asks them out, because you take an emotional/psychological risk when you ask someone out.

guys are most of the time affraid to be rejected so they prefer not to ask the girl
some guys are shy in front of the girls and every time he try to ask her out he get nervos so he get to another subject
and some times guys they wait for a sign from the girl like a smile or eyes looks small thinghs that will help him get over the affrainess

I think there is a difference between liking a girl or being interested in a girl. Also, you should keep in mind, guys don't always have to take the first step.

Sadly, girls do it just as often... Luckly most people have friends that tell both of them what's really going on...
But yeah... This day and age, I'd almost say it'd be better for the girl to do it... It seems to breed more of a chance of success from my experience, but that just may be me...

The teen age guys are intimidated. They just don't the the social experience to "make the first move". They'll out grow it as they gain social confidence with the opposite sex.

there r various reasons , first they r scared that , they might b rejected , secondly there is a fear that the gal, if she is among the frndz she might draw some lines or start maintaining some distance with him
and coz of this later reason guys do feel lonely n scared , and they dont speak out their hearts,,,,,,

they don't wanna get rejected, it is an emotianl nightmare for guys to ask girls out, i asked a girl out not to long ago and i was shaking by the end of and this was over the internet, guys don't want to get turned down and get a big hit to their ego
