Age 4 Year
Optimal Height 102 Cms Range (91- 104 Cms)
Optimal Weight 17 kg Range (13 - 24 Kg )

Age 1 Year
Optimal Height 75 Cms Range (69 - 82 Cms)
Optimal Weight 10 kg Range (8 - 12 Kg )

your older child is at the low end of the chart (which is fine as long as he has always been that way) but your younger baby weighs too much and this could cause health problems

children normally eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full, as long as you offer healthy food choices they cannot over or under eat

make sure your children are eating 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day (at least) they should be fresh or frozen whole fruit and vegetables not juice (even 100%) you should also limit there intake of prepared food (things that come in a box or can) to one serving or less a day

the older one should be drinking mostly water (the baby should be drinking formula or breastmilk)

if you would like a complete diet plan please email me

I think they are normal, at the young age it's just important to make sure that they are eating well, although the elder one not eating would be a bit of a problem- just means more effort and mess until it clears up.

And with the younger one, as long as the food is healthy enough then there isn't a problem with a large appetite

You can't do anything other then offer the food they need. Some kids just need more food then others. My oldest son is a big boy. My daughter is small and my youngest son is about average. Each child, like an every adult, is built different. You can't expect them to all grow the same. If you are real concerned, take them to their Dr. or call him. Ask him if he thinks they are growing as they should. I would think that they would have said something if they suspected a problem.

Yes ur children are normal. They are just fine as well - if u r still concerned take them to the doctor and he/she will confirm what the rest of us know. It sounds as if your eldest is a picky eater and that's not a problem - children who are picky still get their nutritional intake as long as it is provided. So make sure that you know what each of your children need to stay healthy and maintain proper weight and then have fun - so many sources now are geared to healthy eating and children can get their intake in a shake for instance or in any number of ways. And try to get him to the point where he will try something to see if he likes it or not. Most picky eaters say they don't like something w/o ever tasting it - I know because my daughter is like that. But I began only having healthy food in the house and calling her on it when she said she did not like something when I knew she had never tried it before. Just say that how can you truthfully say you don't like something w/o tasting it and it will be tough in the beginning but well worth it in the end. For the little one who loves to eat :) monitor his intake, set him up on a regular schedule like 3 meals a day or six small ones or something like that and make sure his snacks are all healthy ie carrot sticks, raisin logs, rice cakes, etc.
and 'he' is used relatively not to indicate that both are boys.

Yes they are normal...kids just have odd eating habits. My youngets is petite but she eats constantly. My oldest is a little chub, but she doesn't eat all that much. I just let them eat as they wish.
