good question.I believe that God knows what we will do but fates an ideal life for us at the same time, it's our choice to strive to match what happpens in our lives with that ideal life he has planned. God never fates for someone to choose to live agianst him. That's what i think. good luck on your search

Yes,our life is fated and our destiny is written out even before we were born but it is the choice we chose to take that actually determines in the end whether we live up to our fate or destiny.

it's so hard to tell...I mean, supposedly we have free will, but how can you really prove that? How do you know that it was really you that made the decision to get on yahoo answers today, or if that was already in your plan for life anyway? I mean, you may think it was your decision but what If God already knew that you were going to do it anyways! Maybe he put us here to have this talk and fall in love and so on...was it free will that got you on yahoo answers? or was it fate?

If we choose our life path and destiny, how can it be then if an accident happens, a close family member dies suddenly tragically or otherwise, an illness or accident occurs that debilitates or life or someone close to us, etc. how then can we say "we choose our path"? Certainly we do not choose these difficult events that will indeed affect the path of our lives. There seems to be something far more to it than personal choice.

assuming we have a purpose - yes...can we choose? maybe but then wouldnt that have been aour fate in the first place? it depends on how you look at it and how crazy youre willing to drive yourself thinking about it

We each make a choice as to how our life will turn out. No one else makes that choice for us.
